Our futsal programming runs Oct-Mar each season. You can expect 1-2 contacts per week.

Each player will get access to the Minnesota Futsal League (https://www.usyouthfutsal.com/minnesotafutsal), USYF North Regionals (https://www.usyouthfutsal.com/minneapolis), and a bi-weekly training session that consists of futsal instruction and free play.

** If a team were to win the USYF North Regional then an opportunity to play in USYF Nationals would be offered separately from planned programming.

Each roster will consist of 10-12 players. This will allow for flexibility in participation when it comes to a players club team. We view ourselves as supplemental to existing club programming.

Anticipated cost is $400 + uniform (home and away kits)

The game of Futsal (Soccer as well) should be about enjoyment, learning, growing, and building a competitive mindset. We plan to offer an environment that puts learning at the forefront but also encourages and creates competition to prepare our players for all areas of life.

Phil Walczak is the founding director of Sota 1885. He is currently a coach with over 20 years of experience and several coaching licenses. He has spent his entire career coaching in the state of Minnesota and is currently serving as a director of an east metro based soccer club.

Additional coaches will be announced as the program grows to fit the needs of our players.
